Dear Ukraine, I was delighted to find your country third on the list of countries were the visitors of my blog reside. But Alexander S. Pushkin is about the only Russian in my research, now expanded to include Maya Gartung-Pushkin, his eldest daughter, who stood model for Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. Coincidentally I have this plan to learn Russian so I can be able to read Pushkin myself, and finding out about the visits by Ukrainians reinforces this idea. As I say Russian I refer to the language i suppose Ukrainians speak.
